Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Delhi

After breakfast, take a tour of New and Old Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India, and drive past the imposing India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Afterwards, take a tour of Old Delhi and visit Raj Ghat. Later, drive past the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Evening is at leisure. Optionally, you may visit the Red Fort for the Sound and Light Show. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Delhi - Agra ( 203 Kms / 5 hrs)

Morning drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check into the hotel. Afternoon visit Agra Fort and the famous Taj Mahal.

Agra Fort - Lies on the bend of the River Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563–1573 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.

Taj Mahal - This most famous Mughal monument was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, "the Lady of the Taj." (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday.) Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Agra - Jaipur (221 kms/ 6 hrs )

Thereafter, drive to Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.

Thereafter, continue the drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Jaipur

Morning tour of the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill, you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time-honoured fashion.

Afternoon tour of the City. "The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses.

Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja, although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry.

You will also visit the Hawa Mahal, "Palace of the Winds," and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 Jaipur - Delhi(250kms/ 6 hrs)

Morning drive to Delhi. Later, in the late evening, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
