Visit Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a speed boat ride. The dam is flanked by forests and a vast expanse of grassland on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other.

Followed by a short trek through the jungle to see Lakkam Falls and Rajamala, home to the highly endangered mountain goat, the Nilgiri Tahr.

Day 2 Munnar

Visit Echo Point, followed by Top Station. Top Station offers panoramic views of the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu.

Experience the tranquillity offered by Kerala Tourism in Munnar. Evening at leisure.

Day 3 Munnar – Thekkady

Check out of the hotel and enjoy the scenic drive through the lush green mountains to Thekkady.

Kerala tourism packages cannot be completed without paying a visit to the Periyar Tiger Reserve, where you get a chance to sight exotic wildlife species.

Move ahead to a spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations, followed by a visit to the local spice market for garden-fresh spices.

Day 4 Thekkady – Alleppey

Incredible moments at Alleppey Houseboats. Proceed to Alleppey and check in at the houseboat in Alleppey for a 20-hour cruise through the legendary backwaters of Kerala.

The houseboat is a private boat with fully furnished, spacious, bath-attached bedrooms, a hygienic kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the backwaters.

Day 5 Alleppey - Kovalam

The drive from Alleppey to Kovalam is long but serene. It takes about 3.5 hours. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, very much in the lap of nature, are the virgin beaches of Kerala in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram District, which is about 7 kms from Kovalam.

Visit Padmanabha Swami Temple, Vellayani Lake and Vizhinjam Rock-Cut Cave Temple, which contains rock-cut sculptures of Lord Shiva and Parvathy, followed by Aruvikkara Dam.

Visit the Lighthouse located at the southern end of Kovalam Beach. Later, enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset at Edakallu, located very close to the Lighthouse.

Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 6 Kovalam – Cochin

Kochi in Kerala has a predominant influence of colonial architecture. Visit Fort Kochi, Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace and antique shops, along with the Chinese fishing nets, which have been in use for centuries.
